With Akira Kurosawa, John Carpenter and Mel Brooks as
his inspiration, Ryan has written and directed over 30
films since the age of 11. Granted, most of them were
shot in the garage of his home in Encino, but he
swears they were good nonetheless.
While earning his BA from the Art Center College of
Design, Ryan survived an internship with Oliver Stone,
worked as a PA for L.A. Digital Post and personally
saved the seats for Denzel Washington, Julia Roberts
and Walter Matthau while working the publicity
department for Warner Bros. He has also shot numerous
concerts for Gold Circle Entertainment and currently
works as an editor for Film and Video Stock Shots.
In addition to building his commercial reel, Ryan is
co-writing and developing the horror features "Blood
Vessel" and "A Witch in Willow Creek". He intends to
for these projects to be filmed somewhere other then
his garage. |
