Michael shot and edited his first film "Swan Lake" at the age of thirteen on an old 8mm film camera with scotch tape and dull scissors. Once completed, he proudly set up a screening of his 8mm debut only to watch the thin strip of celluloid mangle and jam in the rusty film projector. Balls. This temporary setback only fueled this young filmmaker's desire for what else...a bigger budget.
Michael relocated to southern California to tackle Hollywood and worked with companies like Columbia-TriStar, Fox, FX and ABC Family as a writer/producer/editor. In 1998, he launched Pamela Anderson's campy series 'V.I.P.' and helped make Pamela richer than her wildest dreams. Pam still denies ever meeting him.
After discovering the joys of insane 'one-film-a-month' film making, Michael became a mentor for Group 101 Films and directed short films that aired on AMC and numerous film festivals around the country.
Currently, Michael runs his own editorial company in Hollywood
