Matt Uhry is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer who has lensed top feature films, commercials, and music videos. Current work includes a series of Nutri-Grain Spots for Leo Burnett and Spots for the Sundance Channel starring "Grounded for Life's" Donal Logue.

Uhry's most recent studio credit is Director of Photography on the Disney/Pixar computer animated feature film, TOY STORY 2. At Pixar, Uhry oversaw lay-out, lighting, digital film output.

Prior to Pixar, Uhry honed his craft as a DP in the world of live action independent film. Uhry's feature credits include: SPIN CYCLE, MISSION, FISHING WITH GANDHI, TRAILER, and BOTTOMFEEDERS In addition he has lensed hundreds of videos, commercials, shorts and industrials.

Domestically Uhry's work has been seen on the major cable and broadcast networks, and at film festivals including: Sundance, SXSW, Taos Talking Pictures and the Hamptons Film Festival. Internationally, he has shot on location in Viet Nam, Africa, Mexico, Czech Rep., Chile, and England. and his work has been seen on major cable networks as well as in cinemas in Latin and South America.

Uhry received a BFA with a specialization in cinematography from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1990.
